"Fading" Keycaps: What to Know

The lettering on our boards is laser-etched which means it will not fade or rub off. What appears to be fading is just the transferring of dirt, oils, etc from our fingertips to the keycaps.
 
 The key caps can be cleaned with a little rubbing alcohol (91% works well) and a q-tip. Take caution to not drip any of the alcohol into the keyboard. Alternatively, you can remove the keycaps entirely. Cleaning with alcohol will remove the dirt and restore the lettering on the keys.
