DeltaForce 65 User Manual

Customizing the keymap and LED colors

This guide explains how to use the VIA app to configure keys layout and RGB LEDs colors.

  1. Connect your keyboard to the computer
  2. Download the keyboard configuration JSON file
    1. ck8502_via_v1_02_20240730.json
  3. Launch Chrome or a chromium-based browser (only chromium-based browsers work at this point)
  4. Go to  https://usevia.app/
  5. Click "Setting > Show Design Tab then Design and upload the JSON file.

After the keyboard is successfully recognized by the VIA software, the keyboard name will be displayed. You can then flexibly set your keyboard in the VIA software

Firmware update

In case the keyboard is acting up or if there is a new firmware version, follow these instructions to install the firmware. DO NOT UPDATE the firmware if you keyboard is working correctly.

  1. Download and run the software updater called QMK Toolbox (Windows or MacOS required):
    1. https://qmk.fm/toolbox 
  2. Use firmware file:
    1. 川东CK8502_via_v1_06_20240802.bin
  3. Disconnect keyboard from computer
  4. While pressing ESC down, reconnect the keyboard to the computer. This will start the Device Firmware Upgrade (DFU) mode that is needed to flash the firmware
  5. If at any point you are prompted to install drivers then proceed and install them
  6. Click the Flash button
  7. When done, disconnect the keyboard, quit the app and reconnect the keyboard
